I am the Treasurer and member of the Editorial & Management Committee of the Urhobo Historical Society founded on August 28, 1999 by Peter P. Ekeh, a Professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo. The mission of the Society is to serve Urhobo history and culture. In 2014, the Editorial & Management Committee decided to expand its commitment to Urhoboland and the Urhobo people by relocating its Headquarters to Urhoboland. The Society currently has a website www.waado.org which is old and outmoded. This new site is an experimental site that will ultimately replace waado.org. View more posts
